What compensation does not affect

• Calculator results. Your eligibility bands come from published IRS and state rules applied to your answers — the same answers produce the same results whether or not you ask for a review.
• Our educational content. Pages are researched from IRS.gov, IRS publications, the Internal Revenue Manual and official state agency websites, as described in our editorial policy.
• Your choices. You can use every calculator and read every page without sharing contact information.

We are not a tax firm, law firm, CPA firm or government agency, and we're not affiliated with the IRS or any state tax agency. We don't provide tax advice or negotiate with the IRS.
